North American Porcupine

This adorable, yet prickly, porcupine lives in a nearby city park. She has an interesting snag for a home and is known to have a baby by her side in the Spring. I've been told she has a boyfriend that comes to visit each Fall. Fun fact: Porcupines possess antibiotics in their skin which may help prevent infection when it falls out of a tree and is stuck with its own quills upon hitting the ground.
